Last Day of School

Tomorrow is Alex's last day of Kindergarten. I am amazed that the year is over. What a year he has had. I could not have asked for anything better for him. Many Thanks to his teacher for all that she did for him and us. That is all that I am going to say on the blog but this wonderful year at school makes it all the harder to get in the car and go house hunting a state away tomorrow. I am hoping that I will be excited when I get there. As much as I love Anika I am super super excited to have a day and a half away even if we are running in an out of houses all day. I forgot how hard it can be with a 13 month old at times. She has started hitting and biting and pinching this week WHENEVER she doesn't get her way. I am tired....

OK now for the pictures! These are from about a month ago. I came downstairs and found Alex reading Anika's books to her. :) She was so happy when he gave her the book when he was done. They are so cute..... I will let you know how the house hunt turns out. Thank you for the great advice on how to help Alex with the move!!

Good luck house hunting!! And, don't feel guilty for enjoying it. Getting in and out with kids is exhausting.

Alex!! A first grader, wow where did this year go???! Glad you had such a great teacher. Krista did too.

Glad to hear I am not the only one who hits when they don't get their own way. No biting..........yet. I am not counting on that lasting.

Good Luck with the house hunting!
I have never spent a night away from Julianna, but I can't say that I might not enjoy it if I got the chance. I don't know, I may be fooling myself though.

J is not much of a hitter or biter, but she is a major pouter! She sits right down on the floor wherever we may be and puts her little lip out and folds her arms across her chest. How do they know how to do these things?

LOVE the pics of Alex reading to Anika. SO SWEET and SO cute!!! Beautiful, beautiful kids!

XOXOXO,
Sarah

I love the pics of Alex reading to Anika! What a sweet, sweet big brother!

Hope the house hunting went well and you enjoyed and much deserved break.

Eli has started throwing mini tantrums. He throws himself on the floor and whines. No biting or hitting yet, but I am sure it is coming.

Good luck with the house hunting...we were unsure about our last move as well. One and a half years later, we are so happy we did it. It will take time, but I am sure your whole family will get adjusted just fine.

Oh...isn't the biting, hitting and pinching wonderful??? Layna started that stage a while ago and is still hitting. She just laughs when she does it...not fun!

Of course, your kiddos are cute as can be! Congrats on finishing the first year of kindergarten. I know we will be there before we know it.
