New Pictures!

These are Anika's updated pictures for Aug. I just love her hair. She is also almost 13lbs now.

Also going to put in a picture of Kboy on his second day of K when he saw his bus coming this morning. Is he happy to go or what? Makes it easier to send him when he is so happy.

WOW

This morning was Kboy's first day at all day Kindergarten. I have had very mixed emotions about the whole switch to all day. I was so looking forward to our mornings together before he went to school in the afternoon for 3 hours. Now he gets on the bus at 7:55 and off at 3:00. He is very ready so I decided to let him go instead of homeschool. He was nervous this morning but also very excited. We walked to the bus stop and then after he got on Dh and I drove to the school. We were able to see him get off the bus and walk him to his table in the lunch room. He wanted to tell me how exciting the bus was. I think he is going to do great but it is going to be strange to not have him around during the day. Lets hope that Anika is here sooner rather than later to see her big brother off on the bus.

A few Germany Pictures

We had such a wonderful trip to visit my inlaws. Kboy did fantastic on the trip and dealing with the time change. This was the last big trip as a family of 3 and I was able to stop obsessing about Anika's adoption and enjoy some good quality time with Kboy and my husband. We did so many fun side trips, the beach, a wildlife park where we got to hand feed deer and a kids amusment park. It was such a good break for us. Kboy starts all day K next week and I am going to miss him so so much. It might work out that we get a new picture of Anika on his first day of school. I am going to be a mess. How can it be that the baby I met in the Marriot Lobby 5 years ago is going to be in school and gone "all day" I just can't stop the tears. Much love to you my cherished one. Mommy is so so proud.

Great news!

We just got back today from our vacation. We were in Germany the last two weeks. My Mother and Father in law had their 50th Anniversary last week. It was a ton of fun. I will have to post some pictures once we get adjusted to the time etc... Kboy is alseep now and I better get him up or he will be up all night tonight.

We came home to find DNA results in the mail!!! YIPPPPPEEEE! Now the wait for PA begins..

WE ARE IN FAMILY COURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out that we were submitted to Family Court on August 2nd!! YEA!!!!!!!!! Finally some movement in the right direction. Happy weekend everyone.
